Lola is looking for a new home, but for no reason against her. Unfortunately, her owner has become ill and will not recover :-(. So, the owner wants to find Lola a loving home where she can live out the rest of her life.
Lola will be 12 years old at the end of June. We know she has Jack Russell Terrier in her and we believe she may be mixed with Shih Tzu. The family that is currently fostering her said she does not shed and would consider her "hypoallergenic". She is a tiny girl only weighing 11 lbs.
We are told that Lola does not like other dogs even though she used to live with one. She may do okay with an older dog that doesn't bother her and just lets her do her thing, however, there would have to be a meet and greet to see how they do. Lola has her own schedule and she likes to stick to it! She is an older gal and just set in her ways :-). Her current foster describes her as smart and active and when she wants something, she will let you know. Lola likes all people she meets and may bark at them until they get close, but then rolls over for a belly rub! She is completely house trained; loves going for walks and enjoys her car rides :-)!
Lola loves to be where her people are! She settles down for bed around 7:30pm and when her people go to bed, she follows them and then sleeps in her own dog bed in the bedroom. It is around 8:30 that she rolls out of bed and is ready for the day. Her fosters said she does not like to be bothered while she is sleeping and can be snarky if you startle her awake. For this reason, her family cannot have children or grandchildren living in the house.
Lola will come with her own supplies and she is fully vetted. Her adoption fee is $250.
