SHELBY

Dear sweet Shelby has been with our rescue since February 11th and is patiently awaiting a new forever home. This pretty girl came to us from a shelter in Kentucky where she was found wondering the streets. She was picked up by a local dog officer and taken to the pound where she became quite depressed. Shelby was apparently someone's pet because shehad already been spayed. This poor girl couldn't figure out what she had done todeserve tobe dumped to fend for herselfand neither can we! Shelby is a very, very sweet dog :-) She is a little shy when you first meet her, but she does warm up nicely. Shelby is housebroken, crate trained and does fine with other dogs and good with children. We would love for this docile girl to find a home where she never has to worry about being dumped again. Please check out her webpage for additional information on her.
AKINA

Akina is asweet, prettychihuahua mix that has also been patiently awaiting a new home! She arrived to our rescue on February 18th and has not had much interest :-(( Akina came to us from a high-kill shelter located in Ohio and had been left in one of the "drop off" boxes overnight. When the shelter manager arrived in the morning, she found locals trying to stealAkina out of the box....but, not for good reasons. This adorable girl is young (about9 months old) and really needs to get settled into a new forever home. She is a little shy, but really loves being held and cuddled. We would love to find her a home where she will receive lots of love, affection and socialization!! She is going to make a wonderful companion if someone will give her the chance! For more information on Akina, please check out her personal webpage.
CHARLIE

Charlie is a very handsome young dog that came to us from a shelter located in Kentucky. He was considered "URGENT" and needed to find a rescue quickly! Fortunately, for whoever ends up adopting Charlie....will be most happy that he was saved
. We know we are very glad that he was brought into our rescue. Charlie appears to be a mix of beagle and most likely Foxhound. He is a medium sized dog weighing in at 38 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray by an older man in Kentucky who kept him for a couple of months, however, due to health issues, he could no longer care for him. Charlie is just such a nice dog and we would love to find him a home where he will be forever taken care of!! He is housebroken, crate trained, good with other dogs andknows some basic commands. Don't forget...he is a beagle mix and LOVES to follow his nose! Charlie would love to find a home where he will get lots of attention (because he loves that) and plenty of exercise (because he loves that, too!) In return...he is going to be your best buddy! For more information on Charlie, please check out his personal webpage.
