Jasmine has finally made her way to a rescue!  This good girl has been patiently waiting for a spot to open up for her as her pups arrived a few weeks ago.  Jasmine was found abandoned on the front porch of her previous owners' home down in Kentucky.  It was the summer and the temperatures were in the 90's.  Thank goodness the landlord decided to stop by when he did because she would not have lasted much longer.  Sadly, the 2 cats were left inside and did not make it as the house was like an oven.  Jasmine had herself wrapped so tight around the porch pole that she couldn't even sit.  However, that horrendous ordeal is over for her and she still has a love for humans and is on her way to a better life!

Jasmine is approximately 18 months old based on the landlord's memory...and the vet agrees.  She weighs 40 pounds and in the vet's opinion....she believes Jasmine is a mix of terrier and possibly greyhound.  The brown merle on her head is very unique and only known in a couple of breeds.  She is very sweet, quiet and also, submissive.  Jasmine will only bark when someone comes to the door.  She is being fostered with 2 children (10 and 13 years), a black lab mix and 2 cats. She does great with all of them.  Jasmine and the one cat will snuggle together to sleep!  When she was in Kentucky, she always got along great with all the dogs.  Jasmine is young and is rather high energy.  She will need to be placed in a home where she will be properly exercised in order for everyone to be happy!  She is still doing some chewing because she is still puppy and definitely needs to be crated when left alone.  She is crate trained and will whine to go out...so, she is also housebroken.

Jasmine is spayed, heartworm negative, dewormed, treated with flea preventative and current on her rabies and distemper vaccines.  Her adoption fee is $225.
