Chloe is such a sweet girl that has not always had the best living, but we are hoping to find her a loving home that will let her know what having a good life is all about!
Chloe's life was being tied up on a chain outside 24/7 and not being spayed as the owners refused to have her fixed. Sadly, because she was tied to a chain, she could not escape the neighbors dogs when she went into heat. Needless to say, she has had some litters in her life.
A kind soul took pity on Chloe and took her into her home. She has been with this person for 4 months, but she is unable to keep Chloe due to some to changes in her life. Chloe is currently living with another dog, a cat, and a child and does well with all of them! She is very afraid of thunderstorms, however!! So, please take this into consideration if you thinking about adopting her. Discuss it with your vet and see what options are available to treat a dog that has anxiety from thunderstorms (and probably fireworks, too). You may need to give her medication and consider that in your annual expenses.
Chloe is a 6 year old purebred golden retriever. She is AKC and we may be able to adopt her with her papers. Chloe will be getting spayed and made current on her vaccines prior to her adoption.
Won't you think about giving Chloe a loving home that she so deservedly has earned?
If you are interested in adopting Chloe, please fill out an application on our website at www.worthytails.rescuegroups.org. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to jessie.wilson@comcast.net or worthytailsrescue@comcast.net.
