Mary is the mother of the 9 other puppies listed on this site. Even though only 30 lbs, she gave birth to 11 puppies but unfortunately 2 of them died. She was found as a pregnant stray in Ohio and the dog warden gave her only 3 days before he was going to gas her so a very nice group of volunteers put out a plee to rescues to save her and she was saved in the nick of time. She gave birth only 12 hours after being rescued. Mary appears to be a pug and beagle mix(puggle). Mary is the sweetest dog you could ever meet- she is a super velcro dog who wants to be with you at all times. When you sit she wants to be right on your lap-she is not a licker but loves to be as close as she can to you. She is very calm and quiet dog- I have not even heard her bark in the 7 weeks she has been with me. She is being fostered with kids, other dogs and cats and is great with everyone. She walks nicely on a leash, is house trained and has done fine in the house when left alone. Mary does have cherry eye, which will be repaired when she is spayed before she is adopted. Mary is a super dog who needs a forever home where someone will allow her to get all the loving she wants and can spend lots of time with her- she loves people and just wants to be loved. Mary will not be ready for adoption until the middle of March.
