Bria came to us as a local stray found in Mechanicsburg, PA. When we took her in, she did have abrasions and cuts on her as well as being full of ticks and fleas. We are not sure of this little girl's story, but are scratching our heads trying to figure out why someone would dump her as she is such a good dog!
The veterinarian believes she is probably around 2 years of age. We believe her to be a Jug (Pug and Jack Russell mix) and she weighed 20 pounds at the vet. She was deemed healthy!
Bria is currently being fostered in a home with 3 big labrador retrievers. She does pretty well with them, although if she feels like she is cornered she will growl and show her teeth, but with a verbal correction, she settles herself down. Bria is very sweet and friendly with people. She sometimes will first bark at someone and then after she checks them out, everything is fine. The commands Bria knows are sit and shake paw and she is also house trained. She walks pretty well on a leash and is very well behaved in the car. She is just a really good dog!
Bria is now current on her vaccinations and is currently on flea and tick preventative as well as heartworm preventative.
