Sarge joined our rescue on 4/28/18 coming to us from a shelter in Kentucky. Actually, the shelter he came from pulled him from another shelter in Kentucky to free up space to avoid euthanasia. We are very grateful that he was saved.
Sarge is a Redbone Coonhound mix puppy....somewhere between 11 and 12 weeks old. He currently weighs 17 pounds and will grow to be a large dog. This pup is one of the sweetest puppies we have fostered! He has your typical laid back, easy going hound temperments. Sarge is happiest when he is getting some loving by being held and snuggled or getting a satisfying belly rub :-)! He is being fostered with 3 other puppies and has been around the house dogs and does well with all of them. When first meeting an adult dog, he does bark at them, but then warms up quickly.
Sarge is has received his first 2 puppy vaccinations, dewormed twice and treated with flea/tick and heartworm preventative. He is also microchipped. The adoption fee for Sarge is $300.
