Guess what? I had a bath today. My foster mom said I behaved very well. I went to Pet Bath & Beyond in Camp Hill. They are so kind to us rescued dogs. They gave me a new collar and my own special toy. I am so grateful that so many people truly care about me. I am very well behaved in the house and do fine in my crate. If you're looking for a boy that is calm and loving look my way.
Bandit.

Update from the foster.04/09/2009
This guy is great. He loves to play and will play or sit by your side. He's the guy that will play and when you want to sit he'll sit with you. We know the right family is waiting out there for him and Bandit is waiting for them. He loves to run when outside but is very calm in the house. He will need some work walking on a leash. He knows several commands and has a pleasant personality.
Give this guy a chance. Just meet him. You'll fall in love with his loving personality.

Hi There,
My names is Bandit but I am a nice Bandit.
Here is my sad but true story.
I was in a home for several years with one lady. Then she got married and had 3 children. She gave me away because she didn't have time for me. She said that she thought she was doing what was best for me. Most of the time she would just shut me in a room and leave me alone. I started getting frantic of course being closed off and away from my humans. So my first owner placed an ad in the paper to give me away free. Which I have been told is not good because there are all kinds of crazy people out there that would knowingly harm free pets. Then a lady saw the add and although my owner thought she was wonderful (which she wasn't) took me. Well, that so called wonderful lady took me to a shelter after 2 months because I liked to get on the couch and as she said “that does not work in my home!”. I didn't understand why. I was allowed on the couch at my first home. She didn't try to train me but hauled me off to the shelter. I was so scared when I arrived at the shelter. I had no idea what I had done that was so awful to end up in this strange place. I was forgotten about by my mom once the children came along and then given to someone that brought me to this shelter. My days were numbered. Then this nice lady asked Worthy Tails if they would give me a second chance.
I am fine with other animals and children of all ages. I am a really good boy who just wants someone to love and care for me.
My foster family said I would do better in a home with a fence where I can run and play as I just love to run. I may even work to run with those of you that run to exercise. I have lots of love & kisses to give and will be your special friend for the rest of my life.
Thanks for listening.
Lovingly
Bandit.
