Ginger has been rescued from a shelter, living in a foster home now and getting to know the good life! She is a pretty brindle boxer mix who is a little bigger than her brother Hercules. She has kind of a stocky body type. Not knowing her real mix for certain, we are not sure how large she will grown to be, but it could be as big as 50-60 pounds.
She is a playful puppy who is not shy or cautious. She is adjusting to wearing a collar, is starting her housetraining (going on papers but also going to the door much of the time) and finding toys are lots of fun. Hard bones, soft squeaker toys, balls...any kind of toy is her favorite.
Ginger has an attitude with her brother and doesn't want to share her toys or food sometimes. But she gets along fine with the resident big dog in the house. She is independent and is not a needy kind of pup.
If you are thinking about applying for Ginger, research the boxer breed so you know what an adult dog will require.
Please be prepared for the care and expense of a new puppy before adopting.
