Ruby and her littermates were taken into our rescue on 11/18/18 from Hummelstown, PA. They were born to a feral cat who had disappeared and left to fend for themselves. A kind gentleman was caring for them and reached out to us to see if we could take them and help find them loving, inside only homes. Upon our arrival to pick up the kittens, we had the shocking sight of seeing a huge hawk sitting in the tree above their outdoor structure. Fortunately, none of the kittens were taken, however, we suspect the hawk may have gotten the mother cat :-(. We are so grateful we picked up the kittens that day!
Ruby is the runt of the litter. She may be small, but she is mighty! When first meeting her, she can be a little timid. However, she slowly warms up. Ruby likes to explore and venture around as most typical kitties. She is very sweet and when she is settled, being held like a baby makes her heart content. Ruby's Christmas wish to to find herself a forever home where she will be loved and part of a furever family!
Ruby has tested negative for Felv and FIV, received her first vaccine, dewormed, and treated with Advantage Multi. She will be spayed, dewormed and vaccinated for distemper and rabies on 12/28/18. After that date, she will be available for adoption. Her adoption fee is $100.
If you are interested in adopting Ruby, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org/. For any questions you have about her, please email her foster mom, Nichole at ndwyer1785@gmail.com.
