Hennessey joins our rescue from Alabama. She was surrendered to the shelter by a young lady who could not handle puppy tendancies.
We had Hennessey at the vets and the vet believes she is somewhere between 8 and 12 months old and currently weighs 12.9 lbs. We are guessing her to be a Beagle/Terrier mix. This gal is as sweet as they come! Hennessey loves people and has been great with everyone she's met. Although she gets along fine with the resident dogs in her foster home, it's clear that Hennessey is a "people person"! She would rather play with her human than with the other dogs. And when she's not playing, all she wants is to be loved on! This girl is super cuddly and affectionate! Hennessey is doing great with house breaking and crate training. We believe this sweet pup would do best as an only dog as she really does love being the center of attention. However, cats are fine.....as she loves them!
Hennessey is current on vaccinations (DHPP, bordatella and rabies); 4DX was negative; current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Spay is scheduled for 2/19.
