Misty and her sister will be joining our rescue on February 8th and once she has arrived, we will update her bio and add new pictures of her.
Misty and Nala will be coming to us from a shelter in Alabama. They were owner surrenders, but by no fault of their own. An older couple bought them together and decided that they were too much work...so, off to the shelter they went! The owners said that they were around 3 months old when they dropped them at the shelter on 1/15/19.
We believe Misty is a White German Shepherd mix, but we are not sure what the mix is. She is currently in foster care with Nala and we are told by the foster mom that these are some pretty amazing puppies!! They are very gentle and have had no accidents in the house. She said they seem to be fine with other dogs and have not even noticed the house cat. Misty is the smaller of the two and weighing in at 31 lbs. We do believe that these two puppies are going to be extra large dogs when full grown.
These puppies are not going to do well at apartment dwellings or townhouses. Also, because of their sizes, no children under the age of 5. Since these two are predominately german shepherd, we would prefer someone who has german shepherd experience as this breed is not for an inexperience dog owner. Their next home we want to be a forever home!
Misty will have received her first two puppy vaccines, dewormed multiple times, on flea & tick preventative, heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $375.
