Castiel joined our rescue on April 10th and is in search of his new forever home! He came to us from a shelter in Valley, Alabama.
Castiel really is the whole package! He loves all people, is always happy to see you, is good with other dogs who love to play, cats and kids. In his foster home he is completely crate and house trained. This boy is around 2 years old and weighs 56 lbs. We are told he is a pointer/lab mix and is tall and lanky. Castiel came to us from a shelter in Alabama; he came there as a stray. His owners were found and could not keep him because they were moving. His previous owners said he is a wonderful dog and that they could leave him out in the house with no destruction. He loves to cuddle with you and play with any toy. Sometimes he gets distracted easily by sounds and smells but listens well overall. We think he would make a great therapy dog with some more obedience training because he is well mannered. He would love a home with another dog who would play with him but may not be best in a home with an older dog who doesn't care to play.
Castiel is neutered, dewormed, treated with flea and tick meds, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines! His adoption fee is $375.
