Leonard and his brothers joined our rescue on May 31st from a high kill shelter in Alabama and are in search of their forever homes. This litter of puppies were found as strays, therefore, we have no idea of the parents and are simply guessing on their breeds and ages.
We believe this litter of puppies are mostly likely a mix of hound and labrador retriever. They were examined by our vet and she believes they are somewhere between 10 and 11 week
Leonard is a precious puppy that seems to be mostly hound! He has an orange coat with some white markings and extra rolls as is common in hounds. Leonard is the biggest puppy by a few pounds and will most likely grow to be a large dog (or a large medium sized dog). His build is lower to the ground and he is very stocky. He is the shyest of all the puppies and takes some coaxing, but does warm up and would probably do best with another dog in the house. No small children with Leonard because of his shyness.
Leonard has received his first two parvo/distemper vaccines, dewormed multiple times and current on his flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adoption fee is $350.
