UPDATE 6/16/09: Colby and his siblings arrived safe and sound on Sunday and are just a wonderful group of puppies!! Everyone of them is very sociable and loving! Colby is one of the bigger ones weighing in at 8 pounds. He is definitely more spaniel than lab with his markings. Colby may not be the cutest one of this litter, but, I can tell you, he has the best personlity of this litter!! Both my teenage boys were very drawn to this little guy because he just has such a sweet and outgoing personality. I often find Colby sitting on their laps while they are playing on the computer or X-Box 360. He is just one of those puppies that you just can help but adore! He is very, very sweet and calmer than the rest of the group....seldom ever does any puppy mouthing. Colby with do great with any family....but, consider him if you have younger kids since he is a calmer puppy.
Colby is currently being fostered with 4 adult dogs ranging from a chihuahua to a rodesian ridgeback mix. He does fine with all of them, but the big dog takes him a little out of his comfort zone. If you have a big dog, it may take Colby a few days to become comfortable with his new companion.
Colby and his siblings will be arriving on Sunday, June 14th from a very high kill shelter in South Carolina. As soon as they arrive, we will update their information regarding their personalities and will add new pictures.
