Meet Penny!  This baby girl found herself in a high kill shelter in Alabama. She sure doesn't know what to think of that scary place and would much rather be in a nice quiet home then where she is!  We saw how scared this poor baby was and we couldn't say no! She will be joining our rescue on 1/25/20, and as we learn more about her we will update her bio. The staff members say she shows no aggression at all, she is just timid/scared/unsure. We would love to find her a family that help her feel safe and let her know it's ok to be a puppy! Penny seems to need another dog in the house to help show her the ropes and help her know it's ok to be a puppy. At the time we are only accepting applications for Penny if the applicant currently has a dog. We also want to ensure the adopting family can commit to having patience with her as she learns to experience new things. Because she is timid, she will most likely do best in a home with no children or older children.  

We believe Penny is a dachshun/beagle mix, approximately 25lbs and around 5-6 months old.  Penny is spayed, current on flea and tick, dewormer, bordetella, distemper, Rabies and is microchipped.
