Petey will be joining our rescue on Saturday, May 9th from Valley, Alabama. Fortunately, he was never at the shelter and surrendered directly to a rescue in Alabama. He was living on a farm and kept getting under the horses and the owners were worried he was going to get hurt.
Petey is approximately 6 to 7 months old. We believe he is a mix of border collie and terrier based on his pictures. Once he arrives, we will reassess his breeds if we need to. His current weight is around 30 lbs and will most likely be a medium sized dog when full grown. We are told that he is a very sweet pup and gets along well with other dogs and friendly with people. He loves to snuggle and is found often napping with the baby at his current foster home :-). We will update his bio once he has been with us for a few days.
Petey is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and dewormed. His adoption fee is $375.
