Savannah and her littermates arrived to our rescue on June 19th in search of their new forever homes! Savannah's mom was a stray that wandered onto a couples property in Alabama. She was pregnant and this couple decided to keep her and whelp the puppies. Momma dog is now a part of their family, but they couldn't keep the puppies. The couple reached out to a local rescue for assistance and we offered to help out when we saw the plea.
There are 10 puppies in this litter. Eight of them are males; two are females. All of them are brindle except for two of the males which are blonde with white markings. They were born on March 23, 2021. The mom (picture below) looks to be a hound/shepherd mix. We have no idea on the dad(s) for this litter. The mom is around 50ish lbs and we are guessing on their build that these pups will also end up being medium sized dogs. All of the puppies are very sweet and friendly! They just arrived with us on June 19th and as we get to know them a little better, we will update their bios.
The puppies have received their first distemper, bordatella and rabies vaccines; dewormed and treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $400.
