Eeyore joined our rescue on July 13, 2021 in search of his new forever home! He found himself at a shelter in Alabama as a stray and sat for almost 4 weeks with no interest. The shelter was going to euthanize him the week that we pulled him as they are so overwhelmed and needed to make space for more. We are so very grateful we were able to save him!!
Eeyore is probably around 14 weeks old and currently weighs 21 lbs. We believe he has some great dane in him along with many other breeds. He is rather big boned and although he won't be over 100 lbs, he is most likely still going to be a big boy!
Eeyore came to us as a rather shy pup, however, he has really come out of his shell!!! He is a player and I find him often romping with Rabbit or my own personal dogs. I would love to find him a home with other dogs as he really does enjoy the company of his furry friends. As much as he has warmed up in the last week, I think he will be fine with kids....as long as the they respect him and give him the space he needs to get acclimated.
Eeyore has all 3 of his distemper/parvo vaccines; bordatella and rabies vaccinations; dewormed a couple of times; current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $400.
