Boone and his littermates joined our rescue on August 14, 2021 from Alabama and this pup is the only one still waiting to find his forever home :-(. They were born on June 3, 2021 and we know the momma dog is a medium sized hound mix; dad(s) are unknown.
Boone is a mix of hound, australian shepherd, and cattle dog among many other breeds. We know this because one of his brothers had a DNA test! He will probably end up a medium sized dog (40 to 50lbs) as our best guess. Boone is a very sweet and friendly puppy and has happily greeted many visitors. He seems to know no stranger! This pup loves to play and makes us laugh often. He is a goofball and happy to be out romping with the house dogs or just lounging in the yard. One of his favorite things is splashing in the baby pool :-)! We have been walking him several times a week and he does well on his leash. House training is coming along; not perfect, but almost there.
Boone is neutered and has receive all 3 of his distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella and rabies vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $400.
