Meet Cooper! This boy is in search of his new forever home. He was born in April, 2016 and looks to be a mix of Cairn Terrier and possibly corgi. He currently weighs 43 lbs, but could afford to lose a few pounds.
Cooper is being rehomed because he is too much to handle with a new baby. Even though this boy is 5 years old, he does have some energy and needs to be properly exercised. He has not lived with other dogs, however, he would probably be fine with other dogs (we would want to do a meet and greet to be sure). Cooper loves his people and would do great with a family that is active and would walk/hike with him. He is probably too much for a family with cats as he will most likely chase them. We would recommend children ages 10 and older. Cooper is eager to learn and would do great with a family that will stimulate him in exercise and training.
Cooper is crate trained, house trained and will ring bells to go out. With his longer fur, he does need to be groomed on a regular basis. Please consider this if you are interested.
