Piper will be joining our rescue on December 4th from Alabama where she was just another unwanted animal :-(.
Piper appears to be a mix of pittie with maybe labrador retriever or hound (or any other breed...lol). She is around 4 months old and currently weighs approximately 18 lbs. She will probably end up a medium size dog when full grown.
Piper has been in a foster home in Alabama for the last couple of weeks. We know that when she first arrived, she was timid; especially more with the husband than the wife. However, she has really warmed up with the family (both husband & wife). She has been fostered with 5 other dogs and did well with all of them. There is a definite bond with the boxer though...lol! The foster family has 3 unsocialized chihuahua mixes and Missy just left them alone. She is crate trained and well on her way to being house broken.
Piper is current on vaccines; dewormed and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $350.
