Mina has joined our rescue in search of her new forever home. She is being surrendered because her owner is moving to Utah and cannot take her along :-(.
Mina just turned six years old. She is a mix of black Norwegian Elkhound and Border Collie. She is just a medium sized dog weighing in at 37 lbs. Her coat is gorgeous!
Mina is good with children and was living with a 3 year old girl. She does okay with other dogs as long they aren't in her face; however, she is reactive to dogs when on a leash. We also found out that she is fine with cats! Mina loves people and is very friendly with them! She is a snuggler and really enjoys her belly rubs! She is house trained, but does need work with her leash walking. Mina had a litter of puppies in the past year and the one pup pictured with her is her puppy, Thor who is also looking for a forever home.
Mina will be spayed; microchipped and made current on her vaccinations as well as heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.
