Maisie's time was up at a kill shelter in Alabama and we are fortunate to work with rescues in that state that were able to get her to safety! What a beautiful dog she is and we are happy she can be given a chance to live a great life in the northeast!
Maisie will be arriving to our rescue on March 12th. We are told she is around 2 to 3 years old and around 55 lbs. She looks to be mix of labrador retriever and maybe some hound. Her current foster in Alabama said she has a very mellow personality and pretty much just follows her around the house. She is not a fan of the crate, however, has only had a couple of accidents in the house. She is spoiled and sleeps in bed with her foster mom...lol. As far as wel know, she is good with dogs, cats and children. A volunteer is going to do some testing for us and we will update once we have confirmation. We do have a video of her at the shelter with another dog (that was jumping and humping her) and she was totally fine with it. 0
Maisie is spayed and current on vaccinations. She did have to undergo heartworm treatment and will be evaluated by our vets once she arrives. Her adoption fee is $400.
If you are interested in this beautiful girl, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org. For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.
Thank you for your interest in a rescue dog!
