Trooper was found by a State Highway Patrol Officer, hence his name Trooper.  He was Extremely underweight and for a while gorged himself on food if given the chance. He's been in foster for several weeks, he's figured out food won't always be hard to get and now eats well with other dogs in his home.  He loves to play with his foster siblings and the children that live in the home also ( 5 kids ages 2-14 years of age).

 

Trooper needs a loving forever home with a family that will walk and play with him. His one bad habit is fence climbing so he would need a privacy fence or a home where he'll be on lead when outside. If someone is out there playing with him, he's all attention to you, it's just when he's bored and finds something interesting in the yard next door that he has to go see what it is!
