Bob is a courtesy listing and not a Worthy Tails dog. Please contact Carol at

Bob is known as a rather rare "copper nosed Beagle". He has no brown or black but is only white and copper and has the copper colored nose. His eyes are even light colored instead of the usual dark brown found in most Beagles. A very special boy indeed.
Bob has now been neutered and given all his shots and has been heartworm tested (negative). All he needs is a permanent home. His adoption fee is only $200.
Bob is a stray that hung around someones home for about a month before anyone could get close enough to him to help him. He was wearing a shock collar that had cut into his neck so horribly that it lacked only a few inches of meeting on the back of his neck, the collar was cut off by a neighbor with a kind heart who did put food out for him. As Bob was still very fearful of people, it was approximately another month before they could catch him and bring him to me. We took him to our vet and the wound is healing, we gave him Capstar for immediate flea relief, started him on Frontline, gave him worm meds, a distemper booster, rabies shot and treated him for ear yeast. My vet checked him for a microchip and any identifying tattoos, there were none. I currently have two dogs of my own, a Jack Russell and a deaf Red Heeler mix and Bob gets along very well with them. He is very happy and as playful as a puppy when playing tug of war, chase or romping with them. He has adapted very well to us and our dogs, he is friendly, happy, seems to learn quickly and does very well with my 2 year old granddaughter. Since our trip to the vet, I have been bringing him in the house to sleep in a crate at night. The first night he barked all night long, but after that he has been extremely good in it, no barking, so he seems to pick up on things very quickly. He is estimated to be 3-4 years old and weighs 25 lbs.
