Chase and his siblings joined our rescue in August are patiently waiting for forever homes. These puppies and their mom were confiscated by a humane officer and taken to the local shelter in West Virginia. They had to separate the puppies from their mom as she kept laying on them and sadly lost one of them :-(. We believe they are possibly Australian Shepherd mixes/Labrador Retriever and Shepherd. We estimate their date of birth around 7/4/22.
Chase is going to be a very large dog when full grown! At 12 weeks, he is already weighing 25 lbs! He is a gorgeous puppy with medium length fur; mostly chocolate with merle markings. He is a very sweet puppy and has the "big dog temperament"; meaning he is pretty chill. The morning and evening are his most active times, however, even during those times....I normally find him napping...lol. He enjoys romping with the other dogs and especially the other foster puppy, Rollo (who is also looking for a home!). The house training is coming along and he loves to play with the bells on door. He is definitely food motivated which will help with continued training.
Due to his size, we are only considering applicants living in a house with a yard.
The puppies have received their first 2 distemper/parvo vaccines, dewormed, and treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $400
