Sarah had a very long journey from Georgia to Pennsylvania, but one well worth the trip!  She was scheduled for euthanization within hours and we were lucky enough to rescue her.  I am very glad the shelter called to ask us if we could take her as she is such a wonderful puppy :-)

Sarah is approximately 9 weeks old and weighs 11 pounds.  She appears to be a black labrador retriever mix and has brindle markings on her legs, face, chest and tail.  Her markings are very unique!  Her coat is extremely soft and very shiny.  As far as what she is mixed with....it is hard to say.  There are many breeds that are brindle, but my best guess is Mountain Cur??  No matter what breeds she carries, she is simply a wonderful puppy!  Sarah is extremely sociable and very loving.  When we hold her, she melts right into our bodies.  She is very playful and can be very puppy mouthy, so I am not sure toddlers will do well with her.  She appears to have the lab energy....so, exercise will be a must!! 

Sarah has received her first two sets parvo/distemper vaccines; the bordatella vaccine (for kennel cough); dewormed, and flea treatment.
