He was surrendered to us from a family who purchased him off of LancasterPuppies.com (a puppy mill). He was 3 months old and we are sure he never saw the indoors, or humans other than the ones who fed him. He was shy at first, learning to walk on a leash, learning that children are ok (he is just nervous around them), still learning to trust cats (seems to be afraid ofthem), LOVES adult humans and LOVES other dogs.
Zeus will need to be in a home who knows the husky breed! We would love him to have a fenced in yard, since he is still nervouse on a leash. He will need a home with kids 8yrs old+ since the younger ones make him nervous.
While he is eager to please his people, he is a stubborn husky and is entering the defiant stage, where continued training will be needed.
Zeus is up to date on his distemper/parvo vaccines, bordatella vaccine, and rabies vaccine. He has been dewormed multiple times and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $500.
