Roxie and her 2 siblings joined our rescue on April 1st and are in search of their forever homes. They join us from Alabama where they were found wondering on a country road and ended up at the local shelter.
We believe the puppies were born around Christmas, 2022 and look to have some rottweiler in them. This is only a guess. There are probably many breeds in them! Based on their size and paws, we do believe they will be large dogs when full grown. These puppies came to us quite shy and we are working on getting them socialized.
Roxie is currently in a foster home that consists of two adults and another dog where she is doing great! This family also has lots of family visitors consisting of young children and she does very well with them. She is crate trained and learning potty training quickly (especially peeing outside). Her leash training still needs a lot of work, however, definitely improving. Roxie's foster family describes her as a very sweet and playful pup! Please just keep in mind that if meeting her, she will be timid, but does warm up to her people.
Roxie is up to date on her vaccines (distemper and rabies), dewormed, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.
