WOW!! What a difference loving kindness and good food make!  We took new pictures of Phoebs today 11/10/09!

Phoebe (aka "Wiggle Butt")is about 3 years old, she has a brown/white short smooth coat, a docked tail, and a beautiful classic face which is characteristic of her breed. "Phoebe" appears to be a purebred Boxer, and she is such a sweetheart of a dog. It is obvious from her photographs that she was extremely thin and has not been treated kindly in her 3 short years of life. Yet she is so forgiving, friendly and affectionate and wags her little tail constantly when anyone is nice to her.

I'm sure if she could speak, she'd be grateful for her rescue even if it means living in a boarding kennel for a short while until a forever home can be found for her. You can see the bewilderment in the faces of these loyal pets when they find themselves unwanted.

Phoebe walks beautifully on lead and loves going for her daily walks.  She's eating well and starting to put on a small bit of weight. She gets so excited when we visit for our walks that she wiggles from head to toe.
