Rex just joined our rescue as a local owner surrender. The family had purchased him from a farm and had him for a couple of months, but realized they had taken on too much. They live in a small apartment and have an 18 month old baby and just could not provide enough attention and exercise that Rex needs. However, they gave him lots of love and training and we are grateful for that :-)!
We believe Rex is around 4 months old. The owners told us he is a shepherd and husky mix. He currently weighs 30 lbs and we believe he will end up around 50ish when full grown. His coat is gorgeous and were told he does well with baths.
Rex is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. He was living with children, so we know he is good with kids. His current foster home has another dog and he defintely is enjoying his playtime with his new friend. Cats, we are unsure of how he would be.
Rex is a really sweet and friendly pup! He has liked everyone he has met which includes men and women. He does jump up a lot and that will need training. Considering his breed along with being a puppy, daily exercise will be a must.
Rex is vaccinated, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm medication. His adoption fee is $450.
If you are interested in this handsome boy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org. For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.
Thank you for your interest in a rescue pup!
