"Elvis" is a 10-month old male Basset Hound/Dachshund mix who was surrendered by his owner on November 13, 2009. This cute little guy has a sleek black short smooth coat with reddish brown highlights, a long tail, and an adorable face with large floppy ears. "Elvis" has inherited the short, bowed front legs which are characteristic of both the Basset- and Doxie breeds. He has a delightfully playful personality and loves everyone he meets (and vice versa!). His photos make him appear larger than he really is when you see him in person. He is a petite fellow who weighs 29.4 lbs.
