Cosmo has joined the rescue as a local owner surrender. He was part of an unexpected litter and is in need of his own forever home.
Cosmo was born on July 26, 2023 and we believe he is going to be a large dog when full grown. Momma is a shepherd mix and the father is a cattle dog (pictures below). As of 3 1/2 months, he currently weighs around 20 lbs.
Cosmo is a very sweet puppy and gets along well with other dogs, cats and kids. According to his foster, he is the snuggliest puppy ever and would love a family that is around more often than not. Cosmo is crate trained and is doing great with his house training! His foster mom said he walks pretty well on a leash and is quickly learning his basic commands. Cosmo has been to several public events and does fantastic! He is a very sociable puppy and is happy to great strangers. Due to the breeds of the parents, we are looking for families with dog experience.
Cosmo is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $450.
