Every dog that ends up at a shelter...has a story to tell.  Bianca has a story and would like to share with you,

"Hello there!  My name is Bianca (or, at least that is what they are calling me) and I am not sure what I have done wrong to end up at a very high kill shelter.  I am an incredibly sweet girl who loves everyone and guess I will make the best of this bad situation.  The shelter staff can't believe that no one has come looking for me yet as they believe I am absolutely one of the sweetest dogs they have ever come across!  The rescue thinks I am about 3 years old. I have been spayed and am current on all of my vaccines.  Oh yeah...I guess I was heartworm positive, too.  I have already received my treatments for heartworm and am recovering and am doing really well!  I feel good and will have to remain on heartworm preventative for the rest of my life.  But, you know, every dog should be on heartworm preventative anyways so they don't end up sick like I did!!  My treatments are done and I am really just wanting to find a new place to call home.  The holidays have already passed and I was hoping to be in a new home by now, but, I know I will be a great dog for some family.  I am the sweetest girl and very gentle with kids  I know I am no longer a puppy, but I am still cute like a puppy and have a lot of love to offer a family.  Won't you please consider giving me a loving home??"

Bianca has gone through her heartworm treatments and doing great!  She has no restrictions, but will need to be on heartworm preventative for the rest of her precious life. 

When Bianca first arrived, she had to stay at a kennel as our foster homes were full.  Happily, we found a foster home for her and she is doing wonderful!  She is housebroken and crate trained.  Her foster mom said Bianca is her shadow and follows her everywhere.  So, please keep that in mind because if you do not like a needy, affectionate dog....Bianca is probably not the dog for you.  But, if you like a dog that just wants to love on you and snuggle by your side, then please consider Bianca! 

Even though the shelter told us Bianca was GREAT with other dogs....she, is not. She is fine with some dogs, but not all of them.  We would probably recommend her as being the only dog.
