Sammy joined our rescue on March 13th as part of a seize case in our local township. The police went to the property and found dogs and puppies living in a shed that was not heated and full of feces and urine. The owners were backyard breeders of golden retrievers.
Sammy is currently 9 weeks old and weighs around 10 to 11 lbs. He is a very sweet puppy and quite sociable! His foster home consists of two older dogs that have no interest in playing with him, but he keeps himself busy playing with toys and being curious. Sammy sleeps in a playpen at night and sleeps all night. He is not house trained yet, but his foster mom is working with him. His foster mom said he is a smart little puppy and catching onto training quickly!
Sammy has received his first distemper/parvo vaccine, dewormed and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $450.
If you are interested in adopting Sammy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org. For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.
Thank you for your interest in a rescue dog!
