Java joined our rescue on May 4, 2024 from a shelter in Alabama where she was found as a stray. The shelter estimated her date of birth as January 28th, 2024 and we believe she is a mix of pitbull terrier and Jack Russell Terrier. She is currently weighing around 16 pounds and most likely will end up a medium size dog.
Java's foster mom describes her as an incredibily sweet and an amazing puppy! She is very smart and quick to learn. She gets along with everyone in the household...which includes dogs, cats and kids. Java has already learned crate training and knows when her foster mom goes to a particular treat container, she runs to her crate willingly! Her house training is coming along, but needs continued work. She enjoys taking walks and toys that make noise, such as crinkling or squeaking. However, her favorite place is snuggling up with the family on the couch :-). Java is just a great puppy and will make a loving addition for almost any family!
Java has received all 3 of her distemper vaccines, rabies, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450.
