Lyla will be joining the rescue on the weekend of October 5th in search of her new forever home. She was found as a stray in Tennessee and is currently being fostered by a veterinary student. Fortunately, she has never been in a shelter and will be tranported to PA privately. She seems to be quite healthy and will be seen by a veterinarian prior to arriving.
Lyla is estimated to be close to 3 months old. We believe her to be a hound mix and probably will end up somewhere between 45 to 60 lbs. She is a sweet puppy and loves to play and snuggle! Her foster mom is crate training her and she does wonderful! She goes in her crate easily and sleeps all night with no fussing. Her house training will need to be continued, however, she seems to be picking it up and showing cues by going to the door. Leash walking is just beginning. Lyla is being fostered with another dog and would love another dog to play with in her forever home! She is just an all around great puppy and would make a wonderful companion for an person, couple or family!
Lyla is current on vaccines, deworming and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $450.
