Sweet Henry has found his way to our rescue by no fault of his own. Sadly, he has been caught up in a crazy back and forth/off and on relationship and has become yet another unwanted dog :(.
Henry was born in April, 2024; so he is quickly approaching one year of age. He is 14 lbs and a purebred Rat Terrier. He is neutered, up to date on distemper, bordatella and rabies vaccination; current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and just had a fecal test done.
Henry is a very sweet boy who is a little timid when first meeting him, however, warms up quickly with some treats! He LOVES other dogs and enjoys playing with them....both big and small. Walks and cars rides are a favorite and looks forward to them. His favorite though is snuggling with his humans!!! He loves to sleep under the covers at bedtime and cuddle with you on the couch :). Henry follows his humans and would prefer a home where his people are home more often than not. He is house trained, but not so much with crate training. As for children, since he is a small dog, we are recommending older children or an adult only house.
