Rose joined the rescue as an owner surrender. A good samaritan saved her off a free advertisement and reached out to us to help find her a good home.
Rose seems to be a mix of labrador retriever and shepherd. We are sure there are probably some other breeds in there as well. She is approximately 6 months old and around 40 lbs, however; she is very thin and will probably end up 50 to 60lbs when full grown. Her spay is scheduled for 4/22 and we will allow her adoption prior to that date if the family is local to Central, PA.
Rose is wonderful girl! She is very sweet and would love a person, couple of family to snuggle with :). We have found she gets along with other dogs, cats and children. Her foster mom is crate training her and house training is coming along nicely. She needs continued work on leash walking, but rides great in a car. She is a good pup and would love to find a home that will continue her training and give her lots of love and exercise!!
