Deaf, 6 year old terrier mix,  weighs about 30 pounds.  Gets along well with people of all ages (has been living in a family with 2 small children).  Gets along well with other dogs, but sometimes her disability causes other dogs not to understand her as she doesn't pick up on some of their signals, rides well in a car, walks well on a leash, past the puppy chewing stage - only chews on toys given to her, knows some sign language - sit, stay, come, good girl, because of her deafness she is always watching her owner even when off leash outside to see if there are any signals she needs to be paying attention to.  She is spayed.  She is being given up because her owners have a new baby and have just recently moved and don't feel they have time for her.  :((

Calli is much smaller than her picture looks.  She is only around 30 pounds and is a joy to be around.  Her adoption fee of $100 covers the cost of her spay, shots, heartworm/lyme test (neg), wormer, flea/tick preventative.

Sponsors: HSOP

Special Needs: Deaf. Calli has become an "outside dog" because her owners do not want her. Please consider adopting this nice dog and save her from the coming winter, she doesn't have the coat for winter and the summer heat hasn't been much better.
