Parker and his siblings arrived into our rescue from a high kill shelter located in Ohio.  They have been here for just about a week and doing beautifully!  They are sweet puppies who are anxious to find their "furever homes".

Parker is approximately a 5-month old male pup who appears to be a mix of Brittany Spaniel and Jack Russell terrier.  He and his siblings were found wondering the streets in Ohio and were picked up by the local dog warden and dumped at the shelter.  This sweet boy has a very soft, smooth coat that is mostly white with red large spots and red ticking all over his body.  He has the cutest little face that is mostly red with a white nose that looks as though he has been sniffing in the flour canister :) Parker is the most aloof  out the three, however, still friendly and sociable!  He kind of just has his own agenda :-)  He enjoys receiving attention, but isn't needy.  He can be a little unsure of new people and situations and will bark to let me know, but after assuring him everything will be fine, he just goes and plays.  Parker is a player....meaning he loves to play!!  He and Paige are constantly wrestling around on the ground.  Parker is the largest of the crew currently weighing 27 lbs and may max out around 40 pounds.  With his size and red ticking, he appears Brittany Spaniel....but, with his facial markings and large red spots on his body, I see Jack Russell terrier.  I am not sure where the ears fit in??  Well, whatever his mix is, he is a cutie!! 

Parker has been neutered; received his rabies vaccine; parvo/distemper vaccines; bordatella vaccine; dewormed, and treated with Frontline.

FYI - these puppies are not kept outside!!!  They are kept indoors.  They have simply been enjoying the snow and love to play in it :-)  We were taking advantage of the action photos in the snow!
