Beagle male young adult. Brought in as a stray. He is about 15-18 pounds. Loves people, real good with other dogs, but likes to play rough with the cats. He is very laid back and would make a wonderful companion.
Garrett is in a high kill shelter in rural WV. Most dogs never get out of this shelter alive and hounds are last (along with large, male, black dogs). If you are looking for a nice family dog please complete an application soon.
Garrett's adoption fee of $225 will cover the cost of his neuter, vet check, shots, heartworm and lyme test, wormer and flea/tick preventative, plus transportation to meet his new family.

Special Needs: Woo hoo!!! This boy has a forever family waiting for him in Westtown, NY. He is currently in WV and has a ride as far as Hagerstown, MD. He needs someone who can pick him up in Hagerstown and foster him until the weather allows him to go further and then meet the new family part way, on Saturday, at least as far east as Harrisburg, PA.
