Tommy has arrived in Mechanicsburg, PA from a shelter located in Bath, KY looking for a loving forever home.  Tommy's name was Survivor and he received it as all of his littermates became sick and passed away.  He was the only puppy to survive. 

We think Tommy is probably around 5 to 6 months old.  He has a beautiful reddish brown coat with some black on his snout.  His fur is very soft and more of a medium length.  He appears to be a mix of possibly collie and shepherd??  It is always so hard to say as we have no idea of who his parents are.  Tommy is medium in size and weighs 28 pounds.   Tommy is very sweet and a little on the shy side. Once he meets you, he warms up quickly and after he gets to know you....he will relax and roll over for a belly rub :-)  He really enjoys being with other dogs and loves to play!! We have been working on fetch....and, he will chase the ball...but, doesn't always bring it back!!  We believe toddlers will be too overwhelming for him and think he may do best with a family with older kids (10 and up).  Tommy is a very sweet pup and very well behaved!  He is low-key and not a needy dog.  He is content to be hanging with the other dogs and his people....but not have all the attention on him.   

Tommy has received all of his parvo/distemper shots and dewormed twice; also, treated with Frontline for fleas and ticks.  His adoption fee is $250.  He is scheduled for his neuter in June and will also receive his rabies at that time.
