Haley has arrived in Mechanicsburg, PA and isn't quite sure of her new surroundings. This is a very sweet, submissive pup and she is shy. She has been here for a few days and has bonded with me and my teenage daughter, but it still leary of my husband and teenage boys. We are working on her social skills...especially with the men...and she has actually improved since she first arrived. If you are interested in Haley, please know that you will have to be very patient with her and allow her to earn your trust. Once she trusts you, she is fine... as she follows me around the house :-) She is housebroken and great with my dogs and cat! She loves to play with the dogs!!! We keep her gated in the kitchen at night time and when we are not home and she has done wonderfully. Haley is truly a sweet pup who needs a quiet family that will give her a chance to show what a great dog she really is.
Haley appears to be a border collie mix with possibly greyhound. She currently weighs 24 pounds, but is on the lean side. She will probably end up weighing around 30 pounds when full grown. This girl has long legs and is light in her run....almost has a spring to her.....I could see her being an agility dog! According to the shelter, she is around 8 to 9 months old, spayed and current on her vaccines. Haley's adoption fee is $250 and that includes her spay, vaccines, deworming, Frontline treatment, and collar and leash.
