Buttons arrived to our rescue on 10/7/10 and we are just smitten with her!  She is a darling little puppy that is full of personality and spunk!  She is just a tiny little pup who loves to be held. 

We were contacted by another rescue in West Virginia who was too full to take her and had a terrible story of how they acquired her.  A young couple had been out hiking and heard the cry of this dear puppy and found her tied to the railroad tracks....and, a train was just minutes away!  They quickly untied her and brought her to safety.  She must have had a guardian angel watching over her :-) I will just never understand how cruel and sick some people are that live in our society. 

Buttons is being fostered with dogs, 2 other puppies and a couple of cats and does great with them.  She will guard her food with the other puppies, but not with the big dogs. We are working on this issue.  She is very sociable and just loves to snuggle with either her foster family or the other puppies.
