Kylie is a Keeshond who, through no fault of her own, has found herself homeless at a very young age.  She is only about 15-16 weeks old.  She was purchased from a breeder by a family with 5 small children.  The activity level in their house was a bit too much, and Kylie spent most of her time hiding under a bed.  They family wisely decided to surrender her to a rescue group, and now it's time for her to find her forever family.

So far in foster care, Kylie is very social when meeting people, young and old.  She enjoys playing with the older dog in her foster home, but has not met the cats yet.  She is learning to walk on a leash and is doing very well with her housetraining.

She is hesitant in certain situations.  For instance, she does not want to get in to the car, but is quiet and calm once inside.  She does not like to be picked up, and gets frightened when cars go by on our walks.

She does not bark when left alone, but barks for attention from her foster sister.  Barking is a trait of the Keeshond breed, so she will need to learn when to use her voice and when to be quiet.   She is a little bit puppy mouthy, but not bad.

If you interested in adopting Kylie, please fill out an application on our website at www.worthytails.rescuegroups.org   .  If you have any questions you can email her foster home at onedogmatters@comcast.net

Please consider the life long committment of dog ownership before you apply.  In her short life Kylie has already lost one home.  She is adjusting to her foster home, but let's make the next stop the forever home for this sweet little girl.
