This amazing dog is in a bad situation. His contact person lives within driving distance and can go get him immediately with an approved adoption application. Transportation to at least Hagerstown, MD is done every Saturday at no extra cost to the new owner.
Bullet is almost 4 years old.. is an owned dog that we are helping to place as the other dog in the home is very dominant over him and he needs to find a home where he feels safe..He is said to be smart, comes when called, sits, stays,loves to relax in the evenings, speaks, turn around, lays and shake. He loves to play with other dogs, but doesn't now his own strength so he needs a doggie friend that is strong and energetic as he can be. He does better with older children who know and love dogs but could knock over a small child accidentally. He is 70lbs of happy dog. We are told he is leery of strangers but once he realizes he is in no harm he is a love. He never shows aggression when he is unsure or afraid, he will bark and back away. He will steal food off the counter (geesh I do that!) if you are not careful and he digs holes to bury his rawhides (I don't do that). He does like to chase and catch rabbits so we are suggesting no homes with small critters. He likes to lay in flower gardens and likes to pull up green bean plants. The owner @ this time suggests a home with room for running and a young strong medium/large playmate for him to romp with. We think a home with a large fenced yard or someone who hikes, runs would be good also.
Bullet's adoption fee of $200 covers the cost of his neuter, shots, heartworm/lyme tests, worming, vet check and transportation.
