Update 11/5/10

Hunter is doing very well with his housebreaking and other basic commands.  He wants so bad to please his person.  He also doesn't have the typical energy of a JR, more the spurty energy of a Beagle.  He's ready to play whenever you are, but he also calms down quickly and is ready to relax and get his belly rubbed.  He is doing great with my other dogs and seems to be learning alot from them.  He is such a sweet boy - whomever is lucky enough to adopt him will not be disappointed with his pleasant personality!

Hunter came to us from a high kill shelter in Kentucky.  He was literally an 11th hour pull.  Only a few months old and he was going to be put down, how terrible!  Poor Hunter hasn't even had an opportunity to see what this world is all about and they were going to end his life just because he couldn't find a home in a few days.

He is a very VERY sweet boy who is not too sure of this world.  He was very cautious and scared when we picked him up from transport, but after an hour of lovin he warmed right up.  He's still a quiet and shy boy, but is slowly opening up more and more each day.  He is learning what toys are and what he's supposed to do with them.  He's also learning the basic commands and housebreaking skills.  He's a very smart pup and really wants to please.  Since his life began he has been in nothing but misery and now that he's in a safe environment he's living the good life and catching up on a lot of much needed and deserved rest!

Hunter's application fee covers the cost of neuter, first shots, frontline, and interceptor.  He will come to his new family fully vetted and up to date on his shots!
