Kyra....which is Slavonic meaning "strong woman" has been appropriately chosen for this puppy.  Kyra became very sick and was within hours of dying...and yet...had the strength and will to live and is happily now at a foster home!  Kyra became very ill with the parvovirus and was so close to dying as she developed sepsis and it is truly a miracle she is still with us!

Kyra is just a delightful puppy that you can tell just appreciates life and everything around her.  Watching her in action just makes us smile...maybe because we know she was so close to death...but, her tail is always wagging and she is so happy to see people and play with the other dogs.  She happily greets anyone who comes in the house. Kyra is currently around 27 pounds (as of 12/12/10) and is improving greatly on her housetraining skills!  She is not completely housebroken, however, we are making tremendous progress.  As Kyra matures, she is taking on more of the look of a german shepherd.  The fur on her back is becoming thick and wavy and her ears and face look more like a shepherd.  She is just such a delightful puppy and I can't believe she hasn't been able to find her "furever" home yet!  Kyra is truly a fantastic puppy and she is going to make a wonderful pet!!!
